Royal Rainbow was born from the idea that visibility matters. The 2017 Christmas season was particularly emotionally difficult. Non-affirming family can be tough to deal with especially during the holidays. Everywhere I looked I saw male dominated visuals- snowMEN, gingerbreadMEN, and of course SANTA CLAUS. F$*k Patriarchy, am I right?
Anyway, long story short I wanted to create a brand that let queer folks from all areas of the rainbow feel seen, and not just seen but important, and not just important but ROYAL!
