Royal Rainbow was born from the idea that visibility matters. The 2017 Christmas season was particularly emotionally difficult. Non-affirming family can be tough to deal with especially during the holidays. Everywhere we looked we saw male dominated visuals- snowMEN, gingerbreadMEN, and of course SANTA CLAUS. F$*k Patriarchy, right?
Clothing can be a strong visible statement about who you are and what you believe in. We believe in making fun of everything, laughing at things that are inappropriate, and queering cultural references because the world could always use some more gay.
Anyway, long story short we wanted to create a brand that let queer folks from all areas of the rainbow feel seen, and not just seen but important, and not just important but ROYAL!
